I am totally exhausted today. Last night, despite the fact that Spencer actually went to bed at a normal time last night, I was awake until 1 a.m. I am still reeling that my name was in Writer’s Digest. I promise that I am not going to bring this up for the rest of my life. I also do not aim to let it be the last time that it happens. But I am allowing myself three days to brag. After that, I am going to shut my mouth.
So for today and tomorrow, brace yourselves or ignore me. I am going to brag. Lol.
****Selfish braggart warning*****
I WAS IN WRITER’S DIGEST MAGAZINE. MY NAME WAS IN THE MAGAZINE. I WAS PICKED AS ONE OF 10 OUT OF OVER 900 ENTRANTS. I NEVER IMAGINED THAT THAT WOULD HAPPEN!! Cartwheels, pats on the back and a flip flopping heart. Yay!
****I now return you to your regularly scheduled blog post*****
Riley and Spencer are torn between loving each other and hating each other today. They are like those candy commercials…”First they’re sour, then they’re sweet.” Hug. Hit. Hug. Hit. Repeat.
I was planning on making Chili for dinner tonight, but now I am not sure I will have time. I hope so though. I am looking forward to it.
Crashes are sounding from the dining room so I should go see what mischief the wolf pack (aka Riley and Spencer) are getting into. Something spectacularly messy, I am sure.
